Created by innovative design master Philippe Starck, the Miss K modern table lamp brings a delightful duality to its work. When unlit, its transparent outer diffuser rests with a sleek metallic tint. When the table lamp is lit, the transparency of the diffuser is evident and it appears as if you're looking at an x-ray of a lamp. The Miss K features a fully transparent, PMMA frame and an opal internal diffuser. The Miss K glows with a diffused light. Available in black, fumée, transparent, silver and soft which offers a hint of feminine softness, the result of its soft fabric outer diffuser. There is a dimmer for 0-100% luminosity and a transparent, polarized cord. Inspiration behind the design: There is always more than meets the eye with a Philippe Starck creation, known for his inventive use of materials to evolve our collective perception of the status quo. Here, he blends a traditional outer diffuser with a transparent PMMA structure to surprise us with a lamp that is innovative as well as timeless.
