Originally designed by Mario Bellini in 1969, Chiara is a sculptural statement created from a single sheet of metal, cut, rolled and fastened into a characteristic hooded silhouette that recalls a nuns wimple and veil. The design began with nothing more than a large piece of card and a pair of scissors. This re-edition updates the original with LED compatibility and modern finishes while remaining faithful to Bellinis architectural vision. Even when switched off, Chiaras bold and charismatic presence commands attention.
