Created by Patricia Urquiola, Chasen transforms lighting into a kinetic experience. Inspired by the traditional Japanese tea whisk from which it takes its name, the lamps shade can be mechanically adjusted by opening or closing its filaments. This movement alters both the lamp's shape and how the light is diffused, creating a dynamic interplay between form and atmosphere. Sculptural and interactive, Chasen reflects Urquiolas instinct for innovation and her desire to reinvent the everyday.
