Designed by Achille Castiglioni, Aoy embodies a quiet, futuristic simplicity. When lit, its transparent body almost disappears as the opaline diffuser appears to hover in mid-air. Conceived entirely in glass to make use of the light normally lost in the stem, Aoy also reveals Castiglionis affection for cats, who can curl up in a warm resting place thanks to the opening at its base.
