FLOS_euroluce-2023_header

Flos returns to Euroluce 2023 with an exciting new stand concept developed to present this year’s new releases. A series of capsules guides visitors on an exciting journey to meet the new lighting designs that will soon be available for your interior design projects, with creations from both new designers and long-time collaborators.

KONSTANTIN GRCIC, BLACK FLAG

With a name borrowed from the famous punk rock band, you would expect Black Flag by Konstantin Grcic to embrace disruptive design. And it doesn’t disappoint. The new lamp embodies the rebellious spirit of its namesake with a minimal artistic form that extends out into a bold and highly functional luminaire.

ERWAN BOUROULLEC, EMI

Erwan Bouroullec brings professional technology and lighting quality into the home with Emi, the new luminaire that creates light from shadow. Using Flos technology, invisible light sources reflect light off walls, ceilings or any other surface they might encounter while the body remains dark. The effect is the utmost visual comfort combined with contemporary design and geometry.

WORKMATES

Introducing the new workspace solution by Flos Architectural. Workmates is a contemporary family of luminaires that includes suspension, ceiling, track and floor designs. Unique in the office sector, their extremely subtle forms are paired with state-of-the-art technology that emits light both upwards and downwards for optimum wellbeing in the workplace.

PHILIPPE MALOUIN, BILBOQUET

Wherever light is needed, Bilboquet will oblige. Playful yet precise, Canadian designer Philippe Malouin’s first lamp for Flos was inspired both by a 16th-century French ball game and by magnetic ball joints. The result is a fully adjustable future-proof lamp that exudes personality. Available in Sage, Tomato or Linen all-over colourways.

RONAN BOUROULLEC, CÈRAMIQUE

“Ceramics are about desire, sensuality. I think that my work is increasingly moving in this direction; producing objects that are functional, certainly, but looking for a kind of elegance, of pleasure.”

Intimately familiar with Italy’s unique craft panorama, Flos explores the world of ceramics for the first time with Ceramique, the new and entirely handcrafted lamp by Ronan Bouroullec.

GINO SARFATTI, 2097 MATTE WHITE

Back in 1958, Gino Sarfatti created his take on the traditional Murano glass chandelier with the incredibly modern 2097, revolutionising this type of lighting fixture by transforming functional cables and bulbs into decorative elements. Today, not only has the 2097 not aged a bit, but it is now available in a stunningly elegant matte white colourway.
