Patricia Urquiola unveils the ambitious new Almendra

Designed by Patricia Urquiola, the new Almendra is now available in pre-order. An ambitious project in terms of design and materials, a synthesis of poetry and sustainability achieved with the help of sublime design and cutting edge technology. Almendra is a modular lighting system whose shapes and colors are reminiscent of the almond tree, from which it takes its name. To celebrate it, Patricia Urquiola tells us about its genesis, and talks about her vision for the future.

Bellhop new edition in matte black

Luminator bursts into colour

Designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in the 1950s, the Luminator floor lamp remains incredibly modern, even more so in this bold new pop palette which includes a yellow colourway inspired by the trademark colour of the Achille Castiglioni Foundation. An exercise in minimalism and originally released in anthracite, the revolutionary design takes on new character in yellow, red, white and lite blue. A new painting technique guarantees a more sustainable product.

Oblique in the new floor version

The new Oblique Floor, now reimagined with new proportions, expands Van Duysen’s approach to minimalism into a myriad of domestic uses and beyond. The adaptable lamp that is just as much at ease in the office as it is in an informal studio space or a home: its impeccably-developed light source encourages concentration, allows colours to emerge beautifully and lets its users approach it to best suit their needs.
