When did you realise you wanted to be a designer?
Very young, at 15 years old. It seems to me that I entered in a train and since then it keeps moving forward.
What is artificial light for you?
It’s what creates the ambience after dark, it’s of major importance.
Why do you like working with Flos?
Flos is the best company for lighting.
What is the next object you’d like to design?
I have no answer to this question.
Is there a great designer, artist or musician you regard as a point of reference for your work?
Jacques Tati, Alvar Aalto…
What music do you like to listen to when you work?
Erik Satie sometimes, or no music at all.
Ronan collaborated with his brother Erwan for almost 20 years in a prolific and complementary design partnership that produced many iconic lighting designs.
