Table or floor lamp emitting adjustable diffused light. Composed of two perpendicular extruded aluminium cylinders. Painted or galvanised aluminium body. Diffuser in photo-etched injection-moulded polycarbonate and reflector in painted die-cast aluminium. Light projection adjustable to 25°, 40° or 60° via integrated pin system. Pedal dimmer with channel mixing on the power cord. Plug-in power supply with interchangeable plugs.

Designed by Nendo under the direction of Oki Sato, Sawaru explores balance through radical simplicity. Two perpendicular cylinders, one in the role of light source and the other as base, form a sculptural object that challenges conventional typologies. Adjustable and adaptable in use, it is ideal for drawing attention to an artwork or architectural detail, as well as illuminating under-lit corners or hallways. Known for surprising forms and clever details, Sawaru reflects Nendos ability to reimagine everyday objects and overturn preconceptions.
