Flos wishes to inform its customers about a possible issue that may occur under certain installation conditions of the Luce Sferica and Luce Cilindrica products.

Reason for the notice

If, during assembly, the external screws are tightened with excessive force, and significant changes in ambient temperature subsequently occur (above 20°C), the external glass may be subjected to stresses that could cause cracks or damage.

This situation may also occur in the event of installation that does not comply with the instructions, for example when the tightening is too high or when assembly is carried out with the product switched on, resulting in thermal variations of the components.

What to do

If you need to install or inspect the product:

• Do not tighten the screws excessively
• After tightening them, loosen them by one full turn

If the product is already installed:

• We will provide you with a free corrective kit with updated components
• Follow the instructions to replace the existing spacers

If you notice cracks or damage to the glass:

• Do not use the product
• Contact the customer service department immediately using the contact details provided

• a corrective kit with new “Wave rings” spacers for products already installed/already in use
